This program introduces students to more comprehensive and complex structures and language functions. It takes students to the advanced level of English acquisition and enables them to improve their occupational, academic, and interpersonal communication skills.

Students completing the English as a Second Language - Intermediate Grammar Certificate of Competency will:
- Perform important life skills by understanding and using basic to complex grammar structures and language in written and spoken American English.
- Continue to noncredit NC 308 - ESL Multiskills - Intermediate 2 or NC 309 ESL Multiskills - Advanced.
